Isla de Ometepe is renowned for being one of the most beautiful places in Nicaragua. That’s hard to dispute but we didn’t love it like we thought we would.

As far as we know, Leon in Nicaragua is the only place in the world you can slide down an active volcano on a piece of wood. It sounded great.

Often you take a chance on something when travelling and it works out perfectly. But sometimes it’s a slight disappointment.
